Covid-19 Vaccination – Let’s get some Vooma!

If you or any of your dependants over 18 have not yet had your Covid-19 vaccinations, this coming weekend is for you!

The National Department of Health has planned our country’s first ‘Vooma Vaccination Weekend’ from Friday, 1 October to Saturday, 2 October. The target is to vaccinate 500 000 people this weekend, and the President has called on everyone to support this effort.

SIMPLY VISIT A DIS-CHEM VACCINATION SITE

In support of this drive, Dis-Chem will be opening their vaccination sites across the country for this campaign on Friday, 1 October and Saturday, 2 October. No bookings will be required.

According to the NICD the following vaccinations have been administered as at 28 September 2021:
Total doses: 17 176 603
Total individuals: 12 381 636 (31.11%)
Fully vaccinated: 8 611 747 (21.63%)
